On the 5th of April 1914 the Irish CitizenArmy paraded their colours, the StarryPlough, at a meeting. The flag was unlikeany other used in Ireland and is madeup of an agricultural plough with superimposedupon its structure the star constellationUrsa Major (also called the Great Bearor Plough or Big Dipper).The flag had a giltedge, the background is green, the ploughitself is yellow and the stars are silver.Downloads
